I love reading my books/manuscripts out loud – my way of making sure the story-line/dialogue/descriptive passages etc flow. It also gives me the opportunity to outwardly express every emotion as the action unfolds, thus reacting to every intrigue in my own special way. Do you have friends who love to read? I am often asked where I get the ideas and inspiration from for my story-lines. Well, for me, apart from the main story-line for my Lexicon series, many events created as part of the ongoing narrative have been trawled up from a stack of recollections/events/happenings from my past, where they have lurked in the depths of my brain, sometimes for decades.
