Sorry for the absence. Lots going on that could mean that the fourth and final book in my Lexicon Series could be about to appear. It’s been a while since I promised there was one in the offing so thank you for your patience. Keep watching this space and if you have questions, please don’t hesitate to ask them. I promise to respond. As it nears its conclusion, Alfie’s tale is about to get far more exciting, with dangers aplenty……
An upsurge of interest in The Witch’s Blood has suddenly popped up out of nowhere, especially from potential would-be scammers, some even promising book to movie deals etc bringing great riches! How exciting! Don’t believe a word of course, so extreme caution on my part has to be the order of the day! However, movement of a more genuine type has also appeared on the scene, which is an interesting development and not something to be dismissed, more something to…..
With the festive season already hurtling towards us, the rush is obviously on for the perfect pressie. I can’t think of a better gift for that bookworm, (whatever their age!), than any one of the first three books in my Lexicon Series, The Librarius Quest, The Curse of The Bletherwytch, and also The Witch’s Blood. Once becoming engrossed in reading The Librarius Quest (where it all begins), I know they’ll be impatient to look deeper into the secret concealed deep…..
Well the summer holidays didn’t seem to last long did they and all too soon it was ‘back to school’. A new term beckons and along with it a bounty of fresh, undiscovered knowledge to gather. But perhaps best of all, lots of exciting new books are waiting to be read. So while Christmas is a way off yet (but everyone does still keep mentioning it – far too early!) knuckle down and absorb as much as you can. Am…..
An inexcusably long absence from my blog I’m afraid, for which I apologise profusely. But thank goodness, here I am, back again at last and raring to go. I have spent many months approaching new contacts in the hope of spreading my reach and subsequently the hope of finding that frustratingly elusive publisher for the fourth and final book to bring my Lexicon Series to a satisfying finish. It’s a tough call but one I hope will reap rewards in…..
One boy, four nail-biting quests, an ancient artefact under threat of destruction, not to mention a diorama, witches galore, a creeping darkness and a lost monastery all in the mix, could all this and much more besides have something to do with how it will all end for Alfie Tucker in my LEXICON SERIES? The Librarius Quest, The Curse of The Bletherwytch and also The Witch’s Blood, are the first three books in this gripping series and with a fourth…..
Getting the ending right, especially when bringing a 4-book series to a conclusion that will please, is not easy – a challenge I have been wrestling with for a while. With the umpteenth read-through beckoning (a vital task) to check that every detail, every character, every situation, every outcome not only connects, but also makes sense, it’s fingers crossed I’m nearly there! Wishing all my readers a brilliant 2025!
Apologies to my readers for yet another long silence. Editing and re-reading the last book in the series is taking up a lot of time and concentration. I have to be sure it is right. But it is on its way, I promise you! Do I have a date for its release? Not yet I’m afraid. But now is not the time to dwell on that. Christmas is coming up fast! So right now is the perfect time for ordering…..
Still busy doing more re-writes etc for this manuscript and finding some wrinkles along the way in need of ironing out. I know it will be all the better for it. So still a bit more of a wait, sadly, before it’s out there.
I am still struggling with the final touches to the fourth and final book in my Lexicon Series, The Creeping Dark. With so many threads needing to be brought neatly together in this final chapter for Alfie Tucker, repeated re-reading, editing etc is vital to make sure nothing is missed. So…. nearly there! Watch this space.
